| Mr Mampuru has a total experience of over six years in the profession. He focuses largely on Commercial law and litigation and Intellectual Property. Currently he services mainly small to medium companies in addition to Telkom, National Treasury and the Special Pensions Board.
Mr Mampuru has over the years obtained various qualification and attended courses, amongst which:
The Irish Commercial Law Program. This was a certificate program offered by the Irish Law Society in conjunction with the Law Society of South Africa.
BLA American Bar Association Course. This was a Practical Commercial Law course presented by Commercial Lawyers from the United States and was coordinated by the BLA. Each of the US presenter was supported by a local expert to give a local perspective.
UNISA-LEAD Corporate Law certificate. This National Certificate covers Corporate Governance, Forms of Shares, Transfer of Shares and Securities, Loans for the purchase of own shares, Constitution Documents, Prospectus etc.
He is currently completing his LLM degree with UNISA specializing in Banking and Finance Law and Competition Law.
Mr Mampuru spent some time in 2006 working for the Irish Law Firm of Eugene F. Collins in Dublin. This enabled him to have first hand experience at handling complex and major international commercial transactions.
He has attended several seminars ran by the Law Society of the Northern Provinces and other Legal Education Organizations on the following topics:
Energy and Environmental Law
Mining Law
Pension Law
Trade Mark Usage etc
He is presently a member of the Black Lawyers for Energy Environmental and Mining Law Trust, which is an organization that represent the interest of poor communities affected by bad industrial practices causing pollution and the training and development of Black students in these areas of law.
